| Take Flight part 2: I Can See for Miles & Miles- finished! Here's some closeups, an animation of the whole thing and some in progress:This piece is painted on a fairly light weight plastic, manufactured by a hot tub company. Really cool to paint on and fun to work out the problems of wrapping a panoramic bird's eye view on a sphere (the view is looking out while the viewer is actually looking in, see?). Handpainted with pro acrylics and finished with automotive clearcoat. When on display it will have a little basket hanging off it with some solar powered colored lights.
