At the end of January 2004 I submitted a design to paint one of 150 Panda sculptures to be placed around Washington, DC. Several weeks later I was notified of my selection- My Panda design was chosen! The Panda- titled "Night and Day Panda" was placed on the National Mall in front of The Museum of American History. It was auctioned off and placed in two nice folks' backyard near American University.
The panda was completely hand painted with professional quality artists acrylics and sealed with an automotive clear sealant. My kids nicknamed him "Sunny".
